Home (all) Welcome to DENHAM the Jeanmaker´s website. Each card reveals a story which represents one facet of Denham´s vision. Categorised by the collection, garment library, studio & stores, to press reports & the birth of the Cutter´s Council. Designed in time with no beginning nor end, through resourceful innovation and fearless experimentation. It´s a decorated blog. A tailor-made homepage. We hope to fascinate but are equally prepared to frustrate.
An elegant local gentleman named Jan Zwetsloot visited the shop recently.

He came in because he had read about the Denham Garment Library and wanted to donate a pair of jeans and a denim tunic-top he'd obtained in Mexico in the 70's in his days with KLM. After his visit we did a quick dig to remind ourselves about the whole groovy Tijuana vibe of the time . It's a helluva sexy image, stylish steweardesses, lay-overs on the beach, a healthy glow and a cool pair of white 10oz selvedge bell bottoms (19" flare on a 15" knee) with a right-handed twill and a willingness to fade in the Tijuana sun.
See them now in the Denham Garment Library section of this site.
Thanks again Mr. Zwetsloot.
