Press Founded way way back in 2009, DENHAM will be a toddler for some time to come. As such we are deeply grateful to the media and event organizers below who have been helping us get the word out.

Garment Library Before we created we collected. But we collect not just to ACQUIRE. We collect to EXAMINE, ANALYSE, DISCOVER and to LEARN. The Denham Garment Library is the physical manifestation of our obsession with tradition and quality, providing deep and unique sources of inspiration for our design process.

Product Reviews Denham design, denim integrity. We look to the tradition from which denim emerged as a blueprint for developing the collection. Focused on quality and utility. We seek to add to the great tradition of iconic garment-types by challenging conventions the way they did when they first built pants out of tent-fabric, or slammed machine-rivets into clothing.

Service Co. When pure denim fabric soaks in timeless indigo dyestuff, the result takes on a life of its own. Part of the pleasure of blue jeans is the journey they take with you all the way from a fresh virgin pair to a perfectly worn-in and 100% unique wardrobe favorite. To get from here to there takes care and maintenance. That process should also be a pleasure.

1st EDITION [OTAKU - THE PASSIONATE OBSESSIVE]
After launching the 1st EDITION Line for Autumn Winter 2010 in COLETTE [Paris], PRESENT [London] and the Denham Stores, the category continues to evolve in a cycle of designs aiming for the highest standard of craftsmanship.

The slim fit silhouette SKINNER is a 5 pocket jean with signature DENHAM details, including 7-point-pockets, front yokes, darted hems and knees and usage of boxed button holes.
Both models feature OTAKU details including cord-piping inserts in belt loops and pocket facings. The jeans are constructed making use of a traditional jeans construction, made on the original American Union special machines, stitching a refined 13 stitches per inch.

The 1st EDITION line is a Limited Edition that will be presented exclusively in the Denham House locations in Amsterdam, London and Tokyo as well as select indepedent stores 6 months before it appears in the running seasonal collection.

Skinner Flat

The Crossback and Skinner are presented in special made boxes with detailed descriptions on the jean and its craftsmanship. The jean is delivered with an ‘art of the scissor’ bandana and the Denham ‘Virgin Paper’, featuring the newly opened bespoke denim service “DENHAM Service Co.” and a documentation of worn-in virgin pairs from our friends.
