DENHAM

HOUSE GUEST ARTIST

Each season, DENHAM invites designers and studios to collaborate on limited-edition collections. The project was created with the idea that the collaborators reinterpret DENHAM’s iconic scissor logo in new ways.

DENHAM

THE CONCEPT BEHIND THE HOUSE GUEST ARTIST SERIES IS SIMPLE. ONCE OR TWICE A YEAR, DENHAM INVITES DESIGNERS, ARTISTS AND STUDIOS TO COLLABORATE WITH US TO CREATE LIMITED-EDITION COLLECTIONS.

We reach out to exceptional creatives around the world, whose work and values we admire and connect with. We invite these creatives to create a unique, one-of-a-kind artwork that reimagines our iconic scissor logo, without compromising their unique vision. Then we integrate this new artwork into a special capsule collection, celebrating creativity at its best.

#21 CEIZER

Ceizer is known for his simplistic and witty line drawings, hand lettering and bright, abstract compositions. Inspired in his youth by the colourful lettering of graffiti artists in his home city of Amsterdam.

The perfect artist to reinterpret DENHAM’s message, AIM HIGH and BETTER EVERY DAY, in his lighthearted signature style across a capsule collection of tees, sweats and denim. Encouraging us to be better every day, reaching for the best in everything we do.

#20 Dave Bonzai

UK-based Bonzai has been painting for more than 20 years. Becoming a part of the graffiti community during the heyday of hip-hop culture, he progressed from a traditional style of graffiti to his unique Liquid Chrome style.

His work captures the effects of mirroring the surroundings, with the environment influencing the colours and reflections in his designs. Bonzai's engaging graffiti embraces its environment, making his work unique in its own right

#19 Karski & Beyond

Karski and Beyond are a creative Dutch team crafting original, bright and colourful large scale graffiti murals. Working together since 2012, their combined backgrounds of graphic design and fine art academy are the foundation of their modern, conceptual and dynamic graffiti style.

Known for their authentic use of form, composition and vivid colour combinations, these are the building blocks of their work. Containing realistic, graphic and abstract elements, with surprising amounts of depth, they crafted unique paintings that tell a very modern story on the DENHAM logo, scissors and brand D.N.A.

#18 HEDOF

We collaborated with Dutch illustrator Rick Berkelmans, the man behind the studio Hedof, whose striking illustrations create a thoughtful, well-balanced composition of candy-coloured sceneries. His unique style, which extends across everything from fun characters to sceneries and wonky shapes, reflects his positive attitude and view of the world. For Spring 2022, we created a capsule range featuring special artworks and prints Hedof designed that incorporate our iconic scissor logo.
