Forge Relaxed Fit Jeans - MIJNIF
Forge Relaxed Fit Jeans - MIJNIF
Made in Japan Natural Indigo Fade (MIJNIF): This "East meets West" wash was inspired by 1990s Americana blue jeans fused with a Japanese twist. It's finished with two-toned blue wool yarn hand repairs. Cut from 12oz, fine-spun, 100% Japanese cotton with a 24-dip, deep-dye indigo warp. It has a soft brushed interior ecru weft, which adds comfort.
Japanese denim is some of our most premium product. It's made by artisans who use old school shuttle looms and arduous, time-consuming production methods to create amazing results.
Selvedge refers to self-finished edges — roll up the cuff of your jeans to have a peek at the fabric's edges. It’s a technical term that stems from old school shuttle looms; selvedge is a symbol of quality and authentic craftsmanship.

"A Decade of DENHAM"
Our new collection
This season marks the launch of DENHAM’s 10th Anniversary celebrations. We’ve revisited our favourite designs from over the years, and reimagined them with modern updates and fresh new details.
As a nod to Jason Denham’s English heritage, this collection is inspired by iconic British military regalia and khaki uniforms. Key silhouettes — like trench coats, bomber jackets, blazers and cargo shorts — are combined with luxurious materials and unique patterns.
A homage to the Japanese flag
‘Japan has one of the most educated denim markets in the world,’ says Jason Denham. ‘They have, I think, some of the best materials and best denim, especially in the raw selvedge kind of fabric.’
In the 1960s, the big American weaving mills switched from narrow 29” looms to more efficient 55” weaving machines. As the Americans phased out the laborious ‘old school’ method of production, the Japanese purchased the old machines and have continued using them to today. They have since combined traditional American qualities with their own touch: the best yarns; the most rigorous standards for dyeing and weaving; premium fits; and the highest attention to artisan detail.
691 stitches in every DENHAM scissor logo
For Jason Denham, scissors are a symbol of his craft. Throughout his career he’s collected thousands of pairs – each with a unique story and past. But there’s one scissor that’s the most important: his first pair, which inspired the brand’s iconic logo. Every pair of jeans in our men’s collection is stamped with this trademark, which is meticulously crafted from 691 stitches.

Wash & Care
Let your jeans tell your story
Once you’ve invested in premium quality denim, it’s important to take proper care of your purchase. This will not only prolong the life of your jeans, but it will help them get better with age and tell a story — your story.
The Truth is in the Details
I’ve dedicated my life to making the perfect jeans. They’re my passion and my pride. Like a chef, I hand pick all my ingredients: I study tradition and technique, and obsess over every detail. I honour heritage and authenticity, while bringing a modern twist to my craft. I believe ‘The Truth is in the Details’ and every pair of DENHAM jeans tells a story – one that evolves every time they’re worn. I’m excited to share in this journey and story with you.
