AUTUMN WINTER 18 LOOKBOOK
The Fall-Winter (18) collection is inspired by Jason Denham’s own heritage in the Northern English countryside, from the steel foundries of Sheffield to the rolling Yorkshire Moors. Designs fuse classic workwear references with indigo fabrics, modern tailoring and technical details. They channel the spirit of British country pursuits — think hunting and hiking at historic manor estates — while reflecting DENHAM’s signature utilitarian aesthetic. An autumnal colour palette is filled with rich tones like merlot, gold, burnt caramel and deep seaweed.
This season’s prints are inspired by the work of William Morris, an iconic textile designer and key influencer in the English “Arts and Crafts Movement” of the late 19th century. Graphics combine ornamental floral motifs and playful brushstrokes with Japanese influences, for a true reflection of DENHAM’s “east meets west” mantra.
PETAL DAISY PRINT
The “petal ditsy print” is inspired by one of Britain’s most iconic symbols: the English rose. We created abstract flower petals with a minimal brush stroke, bringing in elements from Japanese calligraphy art. The resulting print is easy and effortless.
ROSEHIP BERRY PRINT
This seasonal print combines hand-drawn rose plants, rosehips and berries, mixed in playful colour combinations. The print is inspired by the work of William Morris, an English artist and key influencer in the “Arts & Crafts Movement”.
SOFT CHECKS AND TAILORING
Inspired by country living in the English outdoors, these styles are warm, soft and cosy for all-weather wear. The items that are part of this theme are the Trail Blazer, Scor Crombie, Hound Overshirt and the Ford Shirt.
INDIGO JAPANESE WORKWEAR
Reflecting Jason’s love of Japanese culture and style, these traditional workwear garments are cut with slightly oversized fits. They are inspired by the men who used to work on railroads or steel foundries.
