The Collection for Men
South American art of the 70s like the circle-obsessed motifs of Eduardo McIntyre has been integrated into overlapping radial construction techniques across men’s jackets, knits, jersey and shirting. Rugged modern utility fabrics like stretch chino and camel leather have been subjected to garment-dye, tumbling and other laundry effects to produce “broken-in modern” tops that effortlessly compliment Denham’s 5-pocket styles. Simple natural fabrications like soft cotton jerseys and knits as well as 100% linen shirting provide an easy-to-wear spring/summer framework for the entire range. With a title like The Devil’s Blue, the colour card could be nothing less than a pure celebration of indigo in all its most evocative tints and shades. The watery tones of Gomez’s artwork have inspired the colours of the collection which are complimented with pale grey melange, sun bleached jungle greens and ecrus and faded blacks.
